Whether your pet is rehabilitating from trauma or injury, healing from wounds, or simply aging, your companion will benefit from this revolutionary new approach to Veterinary medicine. Laser therapy is the only course of treatment that actually stimulates the body to heal from within. Non-thermal photons of light are administered to the body and absorbed by the injured cells. The cells are then stimulated and respond with a higher rate of metabolism. This results in increased circulation from the body, an anti-inflammatory reaction, relief from pain and an acceleration of the healing process. What to expect during a Companion Laser Therapy treatment session for your companion? Simply put, it provides relief. • BLOOD TRANSFUSION

  We maintain a supply of blood for all types of pets in case of emergency. The blood is collected from donor pets that live with their owners, and all blood is carefully screened for disease.

  Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include ear cleaning.

  Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling), and supervised outdoor playtime to keep them happy and active.

• DENTAL CARE

  Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.

  In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is backed up by our mobile resuscitation unit, stocked and equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. In addition, we use the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center.

• ENDOSCOPY

  High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination and biopsies of your pet’s many systems.  Nasal, oral, esophageal, tracheal, urogenital systems as well as draining or fistulous tracts can be visualized and manipulated via rigid endoscopes.  You'd be amazed at the foreign bodies you find in noses!

  Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client. We offer cremation. We can also save the pet's ashes and place them in an urn.

• LASER SURGERY

  Laser Surgery – Less Pain for your Pet Lasers surgery has been widely accepted as a higher standard of care in human medicine for over 30 years. It presents a host of benefits over traditional surgery, and in many procedures, the can replace the scalpel entirely. What are the benefits of laser surgery? Less Pain The laser seals nerve endings as it "cuts." As a result, your pet will experience less pain and be more comfortable after surgery. Less Bleeding The Laser seals small blood vessels during surgery. Because there is less bleeding, surgery is often completed more quickly, reducing the amount of time you pet will be under anesthesia. This further reduced potential complications.      Reduced Swelling & Infection Physical contact between the laser and the surgical region is never established, thus eliminating the crushing, tearing and bruising of tissue associated with traditional surgical methods. Additionally, the CO2 laser energy acts as an antimicrobial/antibacterial agent by producing high temperatures, effectively eliminating microorganisms.      Quick Return to Normal Activities Healing is rapid and there is less post-operative discomfort and a better course of healing.

  This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available. Equine reproductive exams and artificial insemination are available with our ultrasound.

• Preanesthetic and diagnostic in-house lab testing

  We offer a variety of in-house testing including blood chemistry, hematology, electrolytes, urinalysis, endocrinology, canine and feline heartworm, tick-borne diseases and feline retroviruses.  We can also test for various fecal pathogens. Testing can help protect your pet's future health. They provide baseline levels for your pet and become part of your pet medical record for future reference. These tests are also a great diagnostic tool when your pet is sick.
