Doctor

Dr. Kimberly A Carney , BSAg, DVM

Dr. Carney is a 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in south Georgia and showed horses in combined training (3-day eventing) and dressage. After graduation she moved to Harrogate and soon married David Carney from Athens, GA. They had a son, Caleb, in 2004. She is also an adjunct professor at LMU. Pfizer Animal Health has also employed Dr. Carney as an anesthesia and pain management consultant to perform trainings and wet-labs in other practices. Dr. Carney serves on the Board of Advisors for Christian Veterinary Misison.

Susan Becker , DVM

Technician

Rita VanBebber , BS veterinary technology

Rita VanBebber has been employed at HHA since September of 1974. Rita graduated from Central Carolina Tech College, Sandford NC, in 1973. She was working here as the building was being finished. She has been married to her husband Jimmy for 32 years. They live in Speedwell. Her German Shepherd, Willa, loves to go on walks in the park. Rita has two sons, Joe and David, and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. Rita is an obedience instructor with the Good Dog Training Club and has many years of obedience training experince. Rita is also very involved with the vet tech program at LMU.

Thomasa Wilson , LVMT

Thomasa is a Bell County native who graduated from LMU in 1999. She has been at HHA since 1998. Thomasa has been riding horses since before birth and helps with various programs at her family's T & T Stables. They host benefit trail rides for St. Jude's, have hippotherapy progams for area children and adults, summer riding camps, lessons and various other horsey events.

Thomasa has a boxer, Keegan, and a greyhound, Danielle, who are constant companions.

Vickie Cuatt

Vickie Cuatt has been employed at HHA since 2002 as a receptionist. She lives in Powell Valley with her two dogs Nora Belle and Jayven. She has a son and a daughter and loves spending time with her grandchildern. Vickie is also involved in many activities at Pump Springs Baptist Church.

Rachel Diallo

Rachel was born in Michigan and now resides in Tazewell. She is a graduate of LMU with a Bachelors in Animal Science. She loves spending time with her husband. They enjoy being outdoors bicycling or rollerblading. They have a dog named Memphis and a cat named Ray. She has been an employee at HHA since Jan 06.

Hannah DeBusk

Hannah resides in Tazewell Tn. She joined the team here at Harrogate Hospital For Animals in July 08. She is currently majoring in Veterinary Technology at LMU. She enjoys spending time with her family, dogs and cat.

Phillip B Clayton

Phillip Clayton started at HHA in October of 2008. He has a BFA in Acting from Brigham Young University (look for him in shows at the LMU Dinner Theater). He lives in Harrogate with his wife and toddler son. He's preparing for his Personal Trainer Certification exam from The American Council on Exercise.

Jeremy Capps

Jeremy started working at HHA in June of 2009. He resides in Cumberland Gap Tn with his two daughters.
